What you need to know about me

This is a page about me. Seems a little self-centered, no? Actually, I would say that i'm the complete opposite of self-centered. I care so much about everybody, that sometimes I forget about my own needs. Anyways, I'm someone with many dreams, very hard headed and a little emotional.

One of the first things you need to know about me, is that I LOVE to laugh! I can't go a day without laughing even if some of the worst things happen. I find laughing is a cure for everything! Bob Hope once said: "A sense of humor is good for you. Have you ever heard of a laughing hyena with heart burn?" Well, I sure didn't!

I'm someone that is very helpful, every time someone asks me for a favor, I have so much trouble saying no. Also, i'm rarely in a bad mood and very sociable. I basically talk with anybody. In addition, I hate it when people judge me at first glance, so I never do the same. My rule of thumb in life is: "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today" -James Dean-

For me, school is extremely important, so I'm pretty studious. If I succeed at school I could basically succeed in any job. I eventually want to go to university, perhaps in med school.

Finally, family is something that is very, very, very important to me. Family is my rock, my solid foundation, on which I could build my whole life upon. It's something that's impossible to live without, so much love is giving within a family. My mom and dad are really amazing, they thought me so much, but they also let me discover things by making my own mistakes and successes. I owe everything to them. In November of 2010, my life was changed forever, when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Today she is doing very well, but your vision of life still changes drastically. I decided that I had to start realizing my dreams, life is too short; the next year, I joined a trip to Europe in the Alps with my school. I had a great time there. It was purely amazing!

Here is a short list of everything I want to achieve and accomplish in life:

-Go to the Olympics (participating athlete, coach, physiotherapist, etc...)

-Train for whatever sport (volleyball or tennis) somewhere hot (like Florida)

-Do an international tournament in any sport

-Be a physiotherapist or a doctor

-Go somewhere special with my friends

-Volunteer in Africa to conserve animal species

-Volunteer in Greece to help save turtles hatching

-Travel the world (Italy, Greece, New Zealand (kayak), rainforest,

Hawaii, etc...)

-go to Disney world (Orlando) often

-Go to Africa (as a doctor, or just visiting->safari) Eventually, I would like to build a school there and a hospital and work Pro Bono

-Visit space

-See an aurora borealis

-Surf on Water

-Ski (downhill, cross-Country)

-Snowboard

-Cook a lot!

-Play curling

-Find a cure for dieses

-Parachute

-Run a triathlon

-Know someone or be famous

-Watch a concert

-Open a cupcake store or make crazy cupcakes

-Attend Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Madrid, Paris, or London

-Make a triple layer cake (wedding cake style)

-Have a tennis and beach volleyball indoor court

-Have an indoor pool heated going outside

-Have a waterfall

-Create something crazy

-Keep a good relationship with my family and friends

-Get married and have a family

-Be healthy

-Be happy

-Enjoy every moment of life :)

Well honestly, I was hoping to make some few extra bucks to invest in a trip that I will be doing soon to Europe. I've discovered that Squidoo isn't really about that, at all! So basically money made me join, but I haven't made any and yet I'm still writing. In any case, I will be giving my earnings to charity, so yep, the reason that I'm on Squidoo have completely changed.

It's really fun just to write on any topic and read up on some really interesting stuff. You learn so much about yourself and others. Even my writing skills in English are improving as my first language is French!

P.S. I made my first $1.08 and gave to my charity! Feels so good.

I'm now at 2.50$ for charity, i'm working on getting it higher!

I'll try to keep some earning reports as much as possible!

• Movie: Wow that's a toughy, I would have to go with Quest for Camelot!

• Artist: Florence and the Machine. Weird but simply amazing!
• Book: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. A real life changing book! Or even the Hunger Games
• Meal: Homemade pizza with ricotta and pesto... yummy!
• Dessert: Chocolate Pot de crème
• Video Game: The Legend of Zelda, the very first zelda game, probably the most challenging!
• Board Game: Risk, longest game ever, but very fun!
• Sport: Beach Volleyball, simply athletic!
• Athlete: Elena Dementieva. This beautiful tennis player had so much trouble breaking through. Her baseline game was probably one of the best ever which deserved her the Olympic gold medal! But her serve just never shined... I wish her all the best for her post retirement!
• Hobby: Everything in the kitchen! I love to bake and cook. I always experiment new recipes!
